Thin fiberboards with exceptional density, stability and surface finish — for manufacturers who demand the highest quality materials in their products.

HDF (High Density Fiberboard) is a fiberboard manufactured by carefully blending selected wood fibers with high-performance binders and pressing them under extremely high pressure (800–1,000 PSI) and temperatures above 200°C.
The result is a remarkably dense and stable board with density between 800 and 1,040 kg/m³ — significantly higher than MDF (600–800 kg/m³). The uniform structure throughout the material makes HDF ideal for precision applications in furniture and door manufacturing.
HDF is characterized by being knot-free, free from wood fiber patterns, dimensionally stable and with an exceptionally smooth surface — perfect for further processing through lacquering, lamination, foiling or digital printing.

HDF boards offer a unique combination of properties that make them superior for demanding industrial applications.
Extremely smooth and even surface with density up to 1,000 kg/m³ — perfect for lacquering, lamination, foiling and digital printing.
Good dimensional stability under normal indoor conditions.
High density (800–1,040 kg/m³) provides excellent resistance to bending, warping and penetration, as well as better screw retention than MDF.
Better moisture resistance properties compared to MDF due to the high density. Special moisture-resistant grades are also available.
The high density of HDF contributes to good sound dampening in constructions, especially when used as part of a multi-layer solution.
Our HDF boards can be supplied FSC®-certified and with low formaldehyde emissions (E1, CARB P2). Manufactured with sustainability in focus.
HDF offers superior properties compared to MDF across a range of important parameters.
